What is the most effective way to get a diarrhea stain out of a Bed Comforter & sheet?

I have bronchitis, & one of the side effects of the antibiotics that the doctor gave me (Zithromax) is diarrhea, & I coughed & made diarrhea in my sleep @ the same time & I tried to clean it up, but the smell & stain wouldn't come out of the covers.

try ERA liquid detergent.

it works best on protein stains.

it works great on what you describe.

i have a dog with that problem and ERA is the only thing that takes the stains out.

pretreat the stains with full strength ERA, let sit for about an hour. then wash in the hottest water possible.

you may have to repeat this, depending on how old the stain is.

DO NOT DRY until the stain is out.
