Is a Twin Comforter/bedspread okay for a Dorm bed?

If i were to get XL sheets, but a regular twin-sized comforter or bedspread, would it be too small? Thanks for your help everyone!

It will be a little short, but should work fine. The only cause for concern would be if you wanted a look of folding the comforter back, or tucking The Bedspread under then over your pillow.
