Look ahead to 2010: Southwest medical centers are a top issue
Hospitals in southwest Riverside County are in serious if not critical condition heading into 2010. An upcoming inspection will determine whether hospitals in Wildomar and Murrieta get to keep their Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursements. If they don't, the hospitals that serve almost 500,000 residents could have to severely cut services or close. Special Section:
