Can I make a California King mattress fit into a King-Size Bed frame? How?
I bought a King-Size Bed frame and headboard online and didn't realize that the mattress was a California King mattress.
We had exactly the same problem. Lucky for us, the store we bought it from exchanged it for us at no cost.
I did see some frames while I was there, and they were only $25 or so. It seems that you would be better off to buy one, since the investment in a bed is expected to last for 10 years or more. You don't want any unnecessary wear and tear on your mattress.
