Do micro suede comforters make you too hot while sleeping?

I live in Miami and I'm looking to buy a new comforter for my bed. I love the look and feel of micro suede but I'm concerned that I will get too hot. If it is not suitable for warm climates, can anyone recomend a material that is soft like micro suede or Micro Fiber for a warmer climate?

they are great i live in pinellas florida and my bf bought me a new bedroom set for christmas last year and i love it,it is perfect and really comphy.....
