wanted..wadding for making bedspread / patch work quilting?

Have you any wadding suitable for a bedspread / patchwork as I would like to try to make them.
Must be very cheap as this is my first attempt at quilting.

Check various quilt shops in your area for prices. In a pinch, use an old blanket.
